Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued fixed-coupon treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 3.25 billion through two tranches on Monday, 18 December 2023, according to official data.
The first auction stood at EGP 3 billion and will mature in three years on 19 December 2026, with annual coupon frequency.
The second offering amounted to EGP 250 million, holding a five-year tenor until 13 October 2027 and semi-annual coupon frequency.
A day ago, the financial regulator auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a total amount of EGP 47.50 billion.
