Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 55 billion through two offerings on Sunday, 29 December 2024.
The first issue was valued at EGP 25 billion, according to official data. It carries a maturity period of 91 days until 1 April 2025.
Meanwhile, the second tranche holds a value of EGP 30 billion and a tenor of 273 days until 30 September next year.
A week ago, the CBE unveiled T-bills with the same combined value on 22 December.
