Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 70 billion through two issues on Sunday, 18 January 2026.
The first tranche stood at EGP 25 billion and will mature in 91 days on 21 April 2026, according to official data.
With a 273-day tenor until 20 October this year, the second auction was valued at EGP 45 billion.
