Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 40 billion through two auctions on Sunday, 11 June.
The first issue was valued at EGP 22.50 billion and will mature in 91 days on 12 September 2023, according to official data.
With a tenor of 273 days until 12 March 2024, the second tranche stood at EGP 17.50 billion.
Last Thursday, the central bank offered debt instruments worth EGP 39.50 billion through two issues.
