Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 40 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 30 July.
The first issue was valued at EGP 22.50 billion and will mature in 91 days on 31 October 2023, according to official data.
Holding a tenor of 273 days until 30 April 2024, the second offering was valued at EGP 17.50 billion.
Last Thursday, the central bank offered T-bills worth EGP 42 billion through two issues.
