Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 65 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 5 January 2025.
The first tranche stood at EGP 25 billion and will mature in 91 days on 8 April this year, according to official data.
Holding a tenor of 273 days until 7 October 2025, the second offering was valued at EGP 40 billion.
On 29 December 2024, the CBE offered T-bills at a total value of EGP 55 billion through two issues.
