Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a value of EGP 3 billion through one issue on Monday, 3 June.
The offering will mature in three years on 4 June 2027, according to official data.
Additionally, the CBE unveiled zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 4 billion, which holds a 546-day tenor until 2 December 2025.
The financial authority offered treasury bills (T-bills ) in USD valued at $500 million, carrying a maturity period of 364 days until 3 June 2025.
Last week, the central bank CBE announced T-bonds at an aggregated value of EGP 3.50 billion through two auctions.
