CBE offers T-bonds, floating-rate note on Monday

Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a value of EGP 250 million through one issue on Monday, 18 September 2023.

The semi-annual coupon carries a seven-year maturity period until 7 May 2029, according to official data.

Additionally, the CBE offered floating-rate T-bonds worth EGP 750 million through one tranche, which will mature in three years on 11 July 2026.

On 11 September, the financial authority issued T-bonds at a combined value of EGP 4.25 billion through two auctions.
