Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered fixed treasury bonds (T-bonds) worth EGP 12 billion through one auction on Monday, 21 October 2024.
The offering will mature in three years on 1 October 2027, according to official data.
Moreover, the CBE issued floating-rate T-bonds worth EGP 2 billion through one tranche. The auction carries a tenor of three years until 8 October 2027.
A week ago, the CBE unveiled debt instruments at a combined value of EGP 17 billion over three issues.
