Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a value of EGP 3 billion through one auction on Monday, 1 May.
The tranche holds a tenor of three years until 6 April 2026, according to official data.
Furthermore, the CBE offered treasury bills (T-bills) in USD worth $1 billion, which will mature in 364 days on 30 April 2024.
Earlier this week, the central bank auctioned T-bills at a combined value of EGP 40 billion through two tranches.
