Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a total value of EGP 3.75 billion through two tranches on Monday, 28 August 2023.
The first tranche stood at EGP 3.50 billion and will mature in three years on 11 July 2026, according to official data.
With a tenor of five years until 13 October 2027, the second offering was valued at EGP 250 million.
Last week, the financial authority issued fixed T-bonds and floating-rate T-bonds at combined a value of EGP 1 billion.
