Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 105 billion through two auctions on Thursday, 23 April.
With a tenor of 182 days until 27 October 2026, the first tranche stood at EGP 55 billion, according to the CBE’s data.
The second auction was valued at EGP 50 billion, maturing in 364 days on 27 April next year.
Earlier this week, the CBE announced T-bills amounting to EGP 90 billion.
