Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a combined value of EGP 10 billion over two auctions on Monday, 6th April.
Both auctions were valued at EGP 5 billion, each, according to official data.
The first issuance will mature in two years on 7 April 2028, while the second offering will mature in three years on 7 April 2029.
Moreover, the CBE issued a floating-rate T-bond at EGP 3 billion, holding a three-year tenor until 7th April 2029.
