Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned fixed treasury bonds (T-bonds) worth EGP 11 billion through two offerings on Monday, 10 March.
The first issue was valued at EGP 5 billion and will mature in two years on 4 March 2027, according to official data.
The second auction stood at EGP 6 billion, holding a tenor of three years until 4 March 2028.
Furthermore, the CBE offered floating-rate T-bonds at a combined value of EGP 10 billion through two tranches.
The two offerings amounted to EGP 8 billion and EGP 2 billion, respectively, with a maturity period of three years and five years.
