Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 75 billion through two auctions on Sunday, 11 May 2025.
With a 91-day tenor until 12 August this year, the first tranche stood at EGP 30 billion, according to official data.
The second issue was valued at EGP 45 billion, carrying a maturity period of 273 days until 10 February 2026.
Last Thursday, the CBE issued T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 70 billion through two offerings.
