Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 60 billion through two offerings on Sunday, 25 August 2024.
The first auction stood at EGP 40 billion and will mature in 91 days on 26 November this year, according to official data.
The second tranche was valued at EGP 20 billion, carrying a 273-day maturity period until 27 May 2025.
Last Thursday, the CBE auctioned T-bills worth EGP 55 billion through two issues.
