Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST), in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the National Technology Development Program (NTDP), organized a session highlighting government support programs for space sector startups.
Titled “Products for Capability Development in Space Startups,” the session aimed to connect entrepreneurs with national programs and expand access to resources that can support business development and growth, according to a recent press release by CST.
MCIT and NTDP presented several initiatives available to startups, including the Recruitment and Nomination Initiative, Tamkeen, the Digital Talent Network Initiative, the Waed Initiative and Career Fairs.
The programs are designed to help technology startups and small businesses reduce costs, attract skilled talent and address operational challenges, while supporting the creation of employment opportunities for Saudi nationals and the localization of specialized technology roles.
The session forms part of CST’s efforts to strengthen entrepreneurship in the Kingdom’s space sector and help startups scale, while contributing to the development of the local space market and expanding access to space services across Saudi Arabia.
