Canadian Medical Center's CEO resigns; Jouda succeeds

Riyadh – Mubasher: Waddah Muhammad Al Ammar resigned from his post as the CEO of Canadian Medical Center Company on 10 January 2023 due to personal reasons.

Meanwhile, Hassan Jouda succeeded Al Ammar on 11 January this year, according to a recent bourse disclosure.

Jouda held a master's degree in Business Administration from the US-based Almeida University in 2003, after he had obtained a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Riyadh in 1978.

The new official assumed several leadership positions in several companies, including being the Chief Operating Officer of Canadian Medical Center.

Last September, the Tadawul-listed firm paid out SAR 11.55 million, which represented 15% of its capital, as cash dividends for the first half (H1) of 2022.

Canadian Medical Center disbursed a dividend of SAR 1.50 per share for 7.70 million eligible shares.

In the January-June 2022 period, the company recorded net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 7.94 million, an annual hike of 60.08% from SAR 4.96 million.

Revenues surged by 28.96% to SAR 38.92 million in H1-22 from SAR 30.18 million in H1-21, whereas the earnings per share (EPS) increased to SAR 1.03 from SAR 0.64.
