Cairo – Mubasher: Cleopatra Hospitals Group registered EGP 344.97 million in consolidated net profit after income tax during the first nine months (9M) of 2023, an annual rise from EGP 267.14 million.
Revenues amounted to EGP 2.53 billion in 9M-23, up year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 1.87 billion, according to the consolidated financial results.
Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) grew to EGP 0.22 at the end of September 2023, compared to EGP 0.16 a year earlier.
Total assets hit EGP 3.99 billion in 9M-23, versus EGP 3.28 billion as of 31 December 2022.
Standalone Business
Cleopatra Hospitals Group recorded a YoY growth in standalone net profits after tax to EGP 195.26 million during January-September 2023, compared to EGP 167.38 million.
The firm posted revenues amounting to EGP 1.02 billion in 9M-23, compared to EGP 780.18 million in the year-ago period. Basic and diluted profit per share increased to EGP 0.14 from EGP 0.11.
Financials for Q3-23
During the third quarter (Q3) of 2023, the EGX-listed group recorded consolidated net profits after tax valued at EGP 132.32 million, higher YoY than EGP 90.66 million.
The revenues enlarged to EGP 947.51 million in Q3-23 from EGP 660.55 million in Q3-22, while the EPS increased to EGP 0.09 from EGP 0.05.
Non-consolidated net profits after tax rose to EGP 62.41 million in July-September 2023 from EGP 50.62 million in Q3-22, while the revenues jumped to EGP 371.73 million from EGP 271.22 million.
As of 30 June 2023, the consolidated net profits attributable to the owners of Cleopatra Hospitals Group rose to EGP 191.23 million from EGP 164.42 million in the first half (H1) of 2022.
