Cairo – Mubasher: Cleopatra Hospitals Group (CHG) plans to invest EGP 3 billion in the coming years to complete the development of its medical centres, such as Sky Hospital and Haven Hospital, as well as other projects.
Commenting on the news saying that the company pumped investments valued at EGP 1.50 billion, the group said tha the investments over the past five years aimed to upgrade its hospitals through medical devices and structural renovations of buildings, according to a bourse disclosure.
Last December, the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) granted its approval for the EGX-listed firm’s EGP 77.28 million capital reduction.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, Cleopatra Hospitals Group logged consolidated net profits worth EGP 267.14 million, an annual decline of 7% from EGP 288.11 million.
During January-September 2022, the earnings per share (EPS) inched down to EGP 0.16 from EGP 0.17 in 9M-21, whereas the revenues amounted to EGP 1.90 billion.
