DFM, ADX close Monday’s session higher

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 4.77 points (0.13%) on Monday and ended the trading session at 3,549.30 points.

DFM’s turnover stood at AED 412.93 million through the exchange of 196.82 million shares.

Arabian Scandinavian Insurance Company (ASCANA) led the risers with 14.77%, while Dubai Refreshments headed the fallers with 6.25%.

Gulf Navigation Holding (GNH) was the most active stock in terms of both trading volume and value with 45.76 million shares exchanged at AED 151.55 million.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also closed the session higher by 0.514% at 9,527.42 points.

A total of 325.61 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 1.32 billion, whereas the market cap value hit AED 2.71 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 242.54 million among the listed companies, while Eshraq Investments dominated the trading volume with 105.99 million shares.

Fujairah Cement Industries Company (FCI) topped the gainers with 10.84%, whereas Gulf Medical Projects (GMPC) advanced the losers with 9.60%.
