UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) lost 54.40 points (1.38%) on Wednesday and closed the trading session at 3.883.06 points.
The turnover amounted to AED 437.31 million through the exchange of 222.72 million shares.
Emaar Properties witnessed the highest turnover of AED 185.39 million, while Union Properties dominated trading volume with 44.32 million shares.
Al Firdous Holdings led the risers with 14.74%, whereas Ekttitab Holding headed the losers with 7.81%.
The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also ended the session lower by 0.729% at 9,483.98 points.
A total of 181.06 million shares were traded at a value of AED 1.03 billion, while the market cap value reached AED 2.82 trillion.
International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 213.13 million, whereas Multiply Group was the most active stock with 24.98 million shares.
Hayah Insurance topped the gainers with 6.54%, while ADC Acquisition Corporation headed the decliners with 10%.
