UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday’s trading session higher by 16.70 points (0.41%) at 4,014.28 points.
The turnover amounted to AED 197.74 million through the exchange of 74.17 million shares.
Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 55.99 million, while Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) was the most active stock with 8.55 million shares.
International Financial Advisors Holding (IFA) led the risers with 3.03%, whereas Al Firdous Holding headed the decliners with 6.71%.
On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) edged down by 0.123% to 9,482.08 points.
A total of 247.35 million shares were traded at an amount of AED 1.29 billion, whereas the market cap value stood at AED 2.92 trillion.
International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 223.71 million.
PureHealth, which dominated trading volume with 39.14 million shares, topped the gainers with 76.07%.
Meanwhile, Fujairah Cement Industries Company led the decliners with 4.93%.
