DFM, ADX close Wednesday mixed

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday’s trading session lower by 13.47 points (0.32%) at 4,077.58 points.

The trading value hit AED 377.09 million through the exchange of 179.74 million shares.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 104.98 million, whereas Union Properties was the most active stock with 32.93 million shares.

Takaful Emarat led the gainers with 14.92%, while Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman)headed the losers with 4.37%.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rose by 1.331% to 9,715.51 points.

A total of 314.04 million shares were traded at an amount of AED 1.32 billion, whereas the market cap value stood at AED 2.97 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 283.60 million, whereas RAK Properties dominated trading volume with 77.38 million shares.

Hayah Insurance Company advanced the risers with 14.44%, while Palms Sports topped the fallers with 4.93%.
