DFM, ADX collectively rise on Wednesday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Wednesday’s trading session higher by 6.47 points (0.15%) at 4,259.24 points.

The turnover reached AED 1.17 billion through the exchange of 226.46 million shares.

GFH Financial Group, which led the gainers with 6%, was the most active stock in terms of trading volume and value with 85.51 million shares exchanged at AED 88.90 million.

Meanwhile, Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman) headed the decliners with 4.64%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rose by 0.164% to 9,243.81 points.

A total of 197.06 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 1 billion, while the market cap value reached AED 2.86 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 202.14 million, while Multiply Group dominated the trading volume with 27.91 million shares.

Ras Al Khaimah Company for White Cement and Construction Materials (RAK White Cement) topped the risers with 6.93%, while the National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) led the fallers with 4.85%.
