UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday’s trading session at 3,471 points after losing 40.67 points (1.15%).
DFM’s turnover hit AED 413.56 million through the exchange of 182.32 million shares during the session.
Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 122.73 million, while Ajman Bank was the most active stock with 31.58 million shares
BHM Capital Financial Services led the risers with 10.37%, whereas Dar Al Takaful headed the fallers with 6.28%.
Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.045% and ended the trading session in the red zone at 9,633.78 points.
A total of 193.58 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 1.10 billion, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.75 trillion.
MBME GROUP Private Joint Stock Company topped the gainers with 8.33%, while Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (Bildco) advanced the decliners with 10%.
International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 243.58 million, whereas ADNOC Gas dominated the trading volume with 22.09 million shares.
Meanwhile, the UAE stock markets will suspend trading during 20-23 April 2023 and will resume work after the Eid Al Fitr holiday on Monday, 24 April.
