DFM closes Tuesday’s session up; ADX down

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) showed a positive performance on Tuesday after rising by 7.98 points (0.19%) to 4,075.18 points.

A total of 127.41 million shares were exchanged during the session at a value of AED 395.03 million.

In addition to posting the highest trading value of AED 143.35 million, Emaar Properties was the most active stock with 17.99 million shares.

Orascom Construction led the risers with 9.80%, whereas Dubai Refreshments led the fallers with 10%.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.322% to 9,008.64 points.

ADX’s turnover amounted to AED 1.15 billion through the exchange of 272.28 million shares, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.78 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) witnessed the highest turnover of AED 194.30 million, whereas Multiply Group dominated the trading volume with 23.28 million shares.

RAPCO Investment was the top gainer with 9.93%, while the National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) headed the decliners with 6.25%.
