DFM closes Tuesday up; ADX down

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets ended Tuesday’s trading session on a mixed note, with the benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) levelling up by 24.03 points (0.71%) to 3,373.04 points.

A total of 76 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 311.48 million.

Dubai Refreshments topped the risers with 5.96%, whereas Al Firdous Holding led the fallers with 9.54%.

Emaar Properties was the most active stock in terms of trading volume and value with 24.01 million shares traded at AED 143.60 million.

On the other hand, the main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.71% and closed the session at 9,696.47 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 1.40 billion through the exchange of 220.85 million shares. The market cap value reached AED 2.20 trillion.

Hayah Insurance Company advanced the gainers with 14.50%, whereas ADC Acquisition Corporation headed the losers with 4.24%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 303.35 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 36.55 million shares were exchanged.
