DFM closes Tuesday up; ADX down

UAE– Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Tuesday’s trading session higher by 18.01 points (0.44%) at 4,077.28 points.

A total of 241.57 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 547.90 million.

Emaar Properties, which topped the gainers with 3.69%, generated the highest turnover of AED 156.04 million.

Takaful Emarat headed the losers with 9.06%. Meanwhile, Union Properties was the most active stock with 46.81 million shares.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.087% to 9,778.63 points.

The turnover hit AED 1.15 billion through the exchange of 392.51 million shares, while the market cap value amounted to AED 2.81 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 201.64 million, while Manazel dominated the trading volume with 75.43 million shares.

Hily Holding advanced the risers with 14.89%, whereas RAPCO Investment led the fallers with 6.59%.
