DFM ends Sunday down; ADX up

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Sunday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) dropped by 1.16% to close Sunday at 2,664.6 points.

A total of 218.53 million shares were traded through 3,537 transactions valued at AED 227.67 million.

Emirates Refreshments led the losing stocks with 6.51%, while National Industries Group Holding (NIND) topped the rising stocks with 15%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index rose by around 3.52% to settle at 6,427.95 points by the end of Sunday.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.6 billion after 266.1 million shares had been traded through 3,962 transactions.

Easy Lease Motorcycle Rental came on top of the green zone with 14.83%, while Emirates Insurance headed the red zone with 9.93%.
