DFM ends Sunday up; ADX down

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Sunday's trading session on a varied note.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.16% to close Sunday's session at 2,905.9 points.

A total of 77.39 million shares were traded through 1,601 transactions valued at AED 134.76 million.

Oman Insurance Co (OIC) led the rising stocks with 14.78%, while National Industries Group Holding (NIND) topped the losing stocks with 9.89%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchanges (ADX), the main index inched down 0.95% to settle at 7,808.09 points by the end of Sunday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.34 billion after 187.73 million shares had been exchanged through 5,577 transactions.

Sharjah Group came on top of the green zone with 11.87%, while Sudatel Telecommunications Group Company Limited headed the red zone with 6.74%.
