DSI’s unit awarded AED 169m project contact

Dubai – Mubasher: Passavant Energy & Environment Limited, a subsidiary of Drake & Scull International (DSI), has been awarded an AED 169 million contract by Maharashtra Industrial Township Limited (MITL).

The project scope includes the complete design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of the water treatment plant and pipeline, according to a press release.

The 70 million litres per day (MLD) water treatment plant is scheduled to be completed within 36 months from the issuance of the letter of award (LoA).

This is in addition to the laying of a 900-million-diameter water pipeline in the AURIC Bidkin Industrial Area in Maharashtra, India.

Moreover, the project includes operation and maintenance (O&M) for 10 years.

Last February, DSI secured two contracts for the Arabian Hills Project, with a total value of AED 1 billion.
