Riyadh – Mubasher: Derayah Financial Company has entered into a binding investment commitment worth SAR 244 million ($65 million) in the HOF Capital Strategic Opportunities Fund II (Cayman).
The transaction, which closed on 28 August 2026, involved an initial payment of SAR 97.50 million ($26 million), representing 40% of the total commitment.
The remaining 60% of the capital will be deployed over the next 24 months, subject to the fund's requirements.
Derayah Financial plans to finance the investment through its internal resources and existing credit facilities.
Managed by HOF Capital Management LLC, the fund targets a size of SAR 4.50 billion ($1.20 billion), with a maximum cap of SAR 5.63 billion ($1.50 billion).
The fund’s strategy focuses on high-growth sectors, including artificial intelligence, enterprise software, and advanced technologies, with an expected portfolio of approximately 15 investments.
Meanwhile, Derayah Financial intends to eventually transfer this interest into a new multi-strategy AI and technology fund managed by its own asset management team, following regulatory approvals.
The listed firm expects the move to bolster its asset management revenues through future subscription and management fees.
In the three-month period that ended on 30 June 2026, Derayah Financial achieved net profit amounting to SAR 100.75 million.
