Dubai Chambers, VFS Global sign MoU to improve access to global markets

UAE – Mubasher: Dubai Chambers has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with VFS Global, visa outsourcing and technology service provider for governments and their diplomatic missions, to boost trade and investment growth for Dubai-based companies across its global network.

The MoU aims to facilitate the global expansion of Dubai-based companies by reducing barriers to market entry and accelerating their ability to seize commercial opportunities, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

Businesses in Dubai will gain from VFS Global's international network, which provides a range of services and solutions, including due diligence to assess potential partners in international markets.

This agreement is part of the Global Partnership Programme, a new initiative by Dubai International Chamber, one of the three chambers under Dubai Chambers.

The programme aims to enhance the chamber’s attraction and expansion efforts by partnering with top-tier service providers across eight trade categories. It will offer services to streamline processes, simplify operations, cut costs, and minimise risks for Dubai-based companies.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, stated: “Our cooperation with VFS Global will enhance the competitiveness of Dubai’s private sector by facilitating smoother entry into global markets.”

Zubin Karkaria, Founder and CEO of VFS Global, commented: "We are pleased to partner with Dubai Chambers to launch our TradeBridge Global trade and investment services for Dubai-based organisations. This initiative highlights our long-standing commitment to supporting the development of Dubai as a pre-eminent global business hub.”

In July 2024, Dubai Chambers inked an MoU with Aramex to develop the services available to the business community.
