UAE – Mubasher: The Dubai Government Human Resources (DGHR) Department has announced next Wednesday, 1 January 2025, as an official holiday in celebration of the New Year.
Officials at Dubai government departments will resume work on Thursday, 2 January.
Meanwhile, the entities, departments and institutions operating on shift systems or those involved in public services, or management of public facilities are exempted from this holiday.
These entities are authorised to decide the working hours for their staff based on operational requirements to ensure the smooth functioning of public services and facilities during the holiday.
