Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 main index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) rose by 0.31% to 31,819.16 points at the end of Monday.
The EGX100 EWI closed the session higher as well by 0.41% at 10,828.39 points and the Shariah index increased by 1.78% to 3,275.88 points.
Similarly, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI added 0.18% to close at 7,571.61 points.
The turnover reached EGP 5.64 billion through the trading of 783.28 million shares.
In addition, the market cap value hit EGP 2.24 trillion at the end of the session.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian investors were the net buyers with EGP 609.66 million. Meanwhile, the Arab and foreign traders were the net sellers with EGP 283.80 million and EGP 325.85 million in respective order.
