Cairo – Mubasher: The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Monday’s trading session with a negative performance after the EGX30 main index fell by 0.13% to 26,834.47 points.
Both small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices ended the session lower by 0.69% to 5,856.31 points and by 0.24% to 8,502.02 points, respectively.
EGX’s trading value reached EGP 3.20 billion after 788.35 million shares were exchanged. The market cap value amounted to EGP 1.80 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the foreign and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 267.68 million and EGP 5.47 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptian investors were net buyers with EGP 273.15 million.
