Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Sunday’s trading session with a negative note after the EGX30 main index went down by 2.40% to 17,287.64 points.
The EGX50 EWI also retreated by 0.95% to 3,225.41 points.
Both the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI also closed the session lower by 0.65% at 3,493.31 points and by 0.86% at 5,174.62 points, respectively.
EGX’s turnover reached EGP 1.77 billion through the exchange of 759.54 million shares, while the market cap value stood at EGP 1.14 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 99.95 million. Meanwhile, the Arab and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 87.76 million and EGP 12.18 million, respectively.
