Cairo – Mubasher: The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) showed a positive performance on Thursday, with the EGX30 main index up 1.69% to 30,937.69 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed the session higher by 0.43% to 7,100.28 points and by 0.82% to 10,169.55 points, respectively.
EGX’s trading value reached EGP 5.53 billion after 871.95 million shares were exchanged. The market cap value amounted to EGP 2.09 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 437.88 million. The Arab and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 427.73 million and EGP 10.14 million, respectively.
