Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) showed a mixed performance on Thursday after the EGX30 main index fell by 0.23% to 25,350.28 points.
On the other hand, the EGX70 EWI and EGX100 EWI ended the session higher by 0.25% at 5,678.02 points and by 0.10% at 8,151.90 points, respectively.
EGX’s turnover reached EGP 3.51 billion through the exchange of 1.07 billion shares, while the market cap value amounted to EGP 1.74 trillion.
The Egyptian investors were net sellers with EGP 361 million. The Arab and foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 333.04 million and EGP 27.96 million, respectively.
Meanwhile, the EGX is set to halt business on 7 January 2024, on the occasion of the Coptic Christmas Day.
