Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) showed a negative performance on Tuesday, with the EGX30 main down 1.02% to 25,076.42 points.
Both the EGX70 EWI and EGX100 EWI closed the session lower by 1.12% at 5,426 points and by 1.14% at 7,872.48 points, respectively.
EGX’s turnover amounted to EGP 5.05 billion through the exchange of 1.58 billion shares, while the market cap value hit EGP 1.69 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 40.39 million and EGP 4.12 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 44.52 million.
