Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Wednesday’s trading session with a negative performance after the EGX30 main index edged down by 0.46% to 18,133.42 points.
Both the EGX70 EWI and the EGX100 EWI ended the session lower by 0.98% at 3,679.98 points and by 0.92% at 5,413.93 points, respectively.
The turnover stood at EGP 2.60 billion through the exchange of 736.46 million shares, while the market cap value amounted to EGP 1.23 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were net sellers with EGP 38.69 million. Meanwhile, the Arab and foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 31.39 million and EGP 7.30 million, respectively.
