Cairo – Mubasher: The benchmark index (EGX30) of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Wednesday’s trading session higher by 0.41% at 10,855.93 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI gained 0.87% to close Wednesday’s session at 1,863.33 points.
The EGX100 EWI rose by 0.94% to 2,834.65 points, while the EGX50 EWI added 0.97% to close at 1,895.38 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 3.61 billion after 316.63 million shares had been traded through 33,868 transactions.
The market cap value reached EGP 712.20 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 1.83 billion, while the Arab and foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 13.17 million and EGP 1.82 billion, respectively.
