Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday’s trading session on a varied note.
The main EGX30 index rose by 0.52% to end at 10,643 points, while the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI fell by 0.08% to 2,129 points.
In the meantime, the EGX100 EWI inched up by 0.01% to 3,050 points and the EGX50 EWI increased by 0.19% to 2,087 points.
The market cap value grew by EGP 4.9 billion to close at EGP 663.849 billion.
Local and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 7.08 million and EGP 34.43 million, respectively, while foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 41.52 million.
The market’s turnover reached EGP 775.84 million after 297.77 million shares were exchanged through nearly 32,420 transactions.
