Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session with a positive performance after the EGX30 main index rose by 1.13% to 17,155.23 points.
Additionally, the EGX50 EWI went up by 0.67% to 3,151.62 points.
Both the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI ended the session higher by 0.85% at 3,402.82 points and by 0.90% at 5,053.93 points, respectively.
The turnover hit EGP 1.98 billion through the exchange of 557.71 million shares, while the market cap value reached EGP 1.16 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 54.44 million and EGP 30.31 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 84.76 million.
