Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Sunday’s trading session with a negative performance, as the EGX30 main index fell by 0.73% to 17,667.74 points.
The EGX50 EWI also declined by 1.08% to 3,126.87 points.
Both small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI ended the session lower by 0.78% at 3,051.06 points and by 0.91% at 4,631.84 points.
EGX’s turnover hit EGP 2.89 billion after 751.55 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value stood at EGP 1.13 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian traders were net buyers with EGP 129.80 million. Meanwhile, the foreign and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 98.27 million and EGP 31.53 million, respectively.
