Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 benchmark index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) gained 0.58% on Sunday, closing at 31,459.09 points.
Similarly, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI increased by 0.87% to 7,490.03 points.
The EGX100 EWI also closed the session higher by 0.87% at 10,669.45 points and the Shariah index rose by 1.24% to 3,098.92 points.
The turnover amounted to EGP 4.27 billion through the trading of 883.63 million shares. In addition, the market cap value reached EGP 2.17 trillion at the end of the session.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were the net buyers with EGP 13.43 million and EGP 76.92 million, respectively.
Meanwhile, the foreign traders were the net sellers with EGP 90.36 million.
