Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday’s session with a varied note. The EGX30 main index went up by 0.05% to 17,881.52 points.
Meanwhile, the EGX50 EWI and the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI fell by 0.36% to 3,263.51 points and by 1.04% to 3,466.77 points, respectively.
The EGX100 EWI also closed the session lower by 0.82% at 5,163.21 points.
The turnover totalled EGP 1.90 billion after 800.88 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value reached EGP 1.16 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab traders were net sellers with EGP 12.49 million and EGP 26.38 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign investors were net buyers with EGP 38.87 million.
