Cairo – Mubasher: The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) ended Monday’s trading session with a negative performance, with the EGX30 main index down 0.78% to 30,260.24 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI indices closed the session lower by 0.45% to 7,061.16 points and by 0.51% to 10,079.58 points, respectively.
EGX’s trading value reached EGP 3.62 billion after 779.50 million shares were exchanged. The market cap value amounted to EGP 2.05 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and foreign traders were net buyers with EGP 431.32 million and EGP 141.44 million, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 572.76 million.
