Cairo – Mubasher: The indices of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Thursday with a mixed performance, as the EGX30 main index fell by 0.21% to 24,722.82 points.
Meanwhile, both the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as the EGX100 EWI rose by 1.62% to 5,365.26 points and by 1.27% to 7,768.53 points, respectively.
The turnover amounted to EGP 3.83 billion after 1.51 billion shares were traded, while the market cap value stood at EGP 1.67 trillion.
As for trading on securities, the Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 339.96 million and EGP 52.79 million, respectively. The foreign traders, meanwhile, were net sellers with EGP 392.76 million.
